On Time Remapping, just select/tick the 'stretch' box, go to the Timeline and drag out the end of the clip - the longer you drag it out, the slower it is.

We all learn that its good practice to save projects with an incremental name as you go along project001.axp,, project002.axp so that if a corruption occurs you only loose the last bit of work.
Been there!!

You can draw the line in photoshop, or equivalent, then put the lined map above the original and use a swipe transition, or keyframed . Or there is a freeware program 'Route Generator. Or if you want . . .'Vasco da Gama' . . at a price

I have just had a problem with the Newblue Film Effects in S22u with the watermark suddenly showing. Running the installer from the disk (or it may have been refreshing the library!) works - BUT for anyone else having the problem - REMEMBER TO DELETE THE RENDER FILES! - or you won't realise that the problem has been resolved!

And me! End of first v22 project, after much experimentation and time wasting finally determined that all I needed to do was close down and re-boot and try again.

Thanks for the input Saby,
I have just tried that again - Files on SD card using 'copy' in the Importer - add to timeline. No 'Find in Library' in Context menu.
-
Might it be my workflow, I did not use the 'copy' function in the Importer, but 'Link' to the files already copied from the SD cards?
-
Why do I not have ''Find in Library'' in the context menu when selecting clips on the Timeline - only ''Show in Explorer''.
I'm sure I could do that in previous versions
Using 22U / standard HD AVCHD footage from camcorders, 'linked' to HDD directories
or am I too old and have just lost the plot?
