only thing is I don't know how to delete aux files on this version  (PS17)

FORM :  JPG so far all my deleting of library has sped  things up considerably   do I have to constantly be flushing the system of aux files like I had to with PS15 ?  

ok so should I delete all the files stored in the library,  then import just a few hundred at a time and produce several smaller vids with the goal of marrying them into one full length movie ?   Is that an obtainable goal?

WHAT DOES ''PATCHED'' MEAN ?

been making movies with little difficulty till now.  trying to make movie with 6000 sequential stills taken by a trailcam.   almost impossible to move shots from library to timeline.   get the spinning blue eye for several minutes then the message NGI STOPPED WORKING  my equipment is more than sufficient to handle 17 ...

JJ it was you !  And now that you mention it I might just have done that and forgot I did.  Anyway you sound like my wife scolding me again for my stupidity.  Hey I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, know what I mean ? 

God Bless you guys !!  I will stick with S15.  Only probelm now is- and was before- I have no way of re downloading S15 cause of the maze I'm faced with while trying to recover my original purchase location.  I think the last time this type of thing happened someone on this forum offered me a download from an S15 they had but here ...

Hey  does any one know how to re download PS15 Ulitimate.  I get so lost on all the rabbit trails Avid and all the others involved send me on.  Did PS15 ever come in a DVD version ?
