BOWEnage:I am using a Pinnacle Studio Movie Box HD, and Windows 7, will this still work with Windows Live Movie Maker? That's the only version of WMM for Windows 7. My son has that version of WMM and he can't get it to see the Pinnacle Device nor the Easycap, apparently WMM in Windows Xp could see them both fine - hope this helps

Thanks for all the help - I told my son about what we'd discussed here and he abandoned the Moviebox - interestingly he managed to get some drivers and now his Easycap works again, (wish he'd done that before I forked out all that dosh on what is effectively a wet fish), Although he tells me the Easycap lags a lot so he may be buying an NTSC Xbox ...

Unfortunately jjn, in my wisdom, I didn't buy from the store I got the advice from (it was cheaper on-line) so refunds not really an option, and we're running Vista 64bit so does that mean the DVC170 won't work?
