• Re: Re:Splitting Sound In Studio

Hi Yann What he needs is to have one microphone which captures the voice interview input separately from the ambient sound (background noise) so that the levels can be set for each one independently. I don't think Studio can do it, but you or Jeff will have the best knowledge on this.

  • Splitting Sound In Studio

I have a friend who does camera work for the BBC who have certain stipulations for material that he uploads to the hub. They require sound channel 1 to contain interview sound whilst channel 2 contains ambient sound. He has Studio and loves working with it, but is required to use Adobe as Studio cannot split the sound. Is there any way of doing ...

  • Re: Re:Voice Over With Full Screen

Thanks Yann. I only have the one monitor and so I guess I can't do it. It would have made things a little easier as when doing a football commentary, it is sometimes difficult identifying distant players.

  • Voice Over With Full Screen

There is probably a very simple answer, but I cannot fathom how to do a voice over whilst using a full screen. The only buttons I can see are in the usual edit mode for stopping and starting the voice over. I am sure is is possible. Could someone please tell me how I achieve it.

  • Re: Audio lost when importing to Pinnacle Ultimate 24

Have you tried doing this? Load DVD onto computer and select 'open' from the drive on the desktop. Copy all of the files onto the hard drive. Rename all of the large 'VOB' files to .mpg extensions. Import those VOB files into Studio and drag them to the timeline.

  • Re: titler is gone

I had this problem and used a workaround. I loaded an existing saved title, deleted the content and then constructed a new title. Not ideal, but at least it provides the opportunity to continue working whilst the problem is being solved.

  • Re: Studio 26 - What's The Difference?

Tony P:Hi Bob, you know you can download the trial version and test it for yourself on your computer to see what works and what doesn't. Hi Tony. Downloads are never an option for me owing to my extremely slow internet speed (half a meg at best). It is bad enough when installing largely from a disc, since some content still has to be ...

  • Re: Studio 26 - What's The Difference?

saby: Bob keen:I was referring to being unable to go directly to the point of digit/font replacement and change it. With the older versions (which appeared in a different window for edit) it was more versatile in that text could be changed at any point simply by locating the cursor in front of the bit to be deleted. With PS25, if you attempt to ...

  • Re: Studio 26 - What's The Difference?

saby:Bob, Does this sentence matches with your bug description : ''change title font or size text box, all lines are changed, but may work in preview window'' Bob keen: I still find using the text window cumbersome, particularly when amending things such a a 24 team football league table. Hi Yann. I was referring to being unable ...

  • Re: Studio 26 - What's The Difference?

Probably not enough to cause me to fork out for an upgrade this time. I have learned to work with the foibles of PS25 and they are not too annoying. I would have liked them to have sorted the amendment of text via the preview window, which might just have persuaded me to purchase, as I still find using the text window cumbersome, particularly when ...
