• Re: Studio 20 & 21 - Performance - Lag Times When Editing

Thanks Tony If you are editing a longer project it would be interesting to know how PS22 performs on your machine with an average of say 400-450 clips/scenes/pictures (about an hour of content) on the Timeline not just a couple of longer clips. In PS21.2 the lag is present all the time after about 15-20 minutes ...

• Re: Studio 20 & 21 - Performance - Lag Times When Editing

Hi I'm don't think there is much else we can do re the lag issue except hope that Corel fixes the problem in a future release (if still a problem in PS22 that is). As I mentioned there is no point, at least for myself as I always edit long-form projects, upgrading to PS22 and adding the Fade and Transition problems to the ...

• Re: Unable to add transitions to multiple clips simultaneously in Studio 22

Hi Selecting multiple clips and using ADD In or Out Transitions was a workaround for Ripple to avoid stretching the clips (pink still image). Ripple always uses OVERWRITE mode so clips are extended as stills unless trimmed. Selecting multiple clips and using the Add IN or OUT Transition function in INSERT Mode automatically trimmed the ...

• Re: Studio 20 & 21 - Performance - Lag Times When Editing

Hi After reporting the lag issue in PS20 to Corel their Tech Support requested a number of audits on my PC and remotely accessed it a couple of times. Originally I thought the problem was with my PC but as it turned out it is almost certainly a software problem in Studio, however, Corel would not confirm this or provide any ...

• Re: Exported Movie appears to not be rendered after exporting?

Hi You didn't mention which version of Studio. I experienced this 'rendering' issue shortly after installing PS20 and PS21. It seems to just fix itself. You could try: 1. Open a new 'empty' project 2. Go to Setup > Control Panel > Storage Locations. Click Delete Render Files. 3. Close Studio. ...

Me too...Importing, Editing and Exporting as .mp4 with no probs.
• Re: Having trouble with transitions...

Hi I think at least part of the problem may be caused by deleting clips associated with Transitions when in Smart or Insert Mode. I've experienced the fragments of clips appearing in strange places on the Timeline in a couple of scenarios...the one I recall, at least in PS21, is: - Add 3 clips to the timeline - Add ...

• Re: Re:Studio 22 Transitions

Hi and my apologies for butting into your conversation. I agree with Saby's assessment for 'fades', dragging the start/end of clips in PS21, however, when adding IN or OUT Transitions from the library or by double clicking and selecting add IN or OUT Transition it is a bit different. Smart Mode Add OUT Transition - OK and timeline is ...

• Re: Trim clip without moving keyframes

Hi You could try exporting it to say an .mp4 file then import the .mp4 file and trim off the 2 seconds. Suggest you save the original in case you need to edit it further later.

• Re: Clips don’t move after trimming one

Hi You probably have the Timeline in 'Overwrite' Mode. On the far right of the toolbar above the timeline there is a right facing arrow. Click to show the dropdown list and select the appropriate Timeline Mode. Overwrite Mode will only impact the selected clip...nothing else moves. Insert and Smart Modes will do what you ...
