• Re: Re:Audio Correction

Hi In Studio 20 I don't think you can adjust the Equalizer settings across multiple clips/scenes on the Timeline or by Copy/Pasting and definitely cannot alter the Volume across multiple clips (unless there is an Effect with 'Equalizer' in S20 that I'm not aware of). I've been doing similar with vehicle noise in Studio 21 (similar to ...

You could also try the Sharpen option in NewBlue Video Essentials.

  • Re: Can you change 3D Menu's to 2D?

Hi Just a suggestion. Have you tried using the 3D items? I've noticed in PS21 (I don't currently have PS22) that some components appear to refer to the graphics as 3D rather than 'side-by-side' 3D video. They seem to work fine in 2D projects but I have not tried the Menu items. The icons shown for the football ...

  • Re: Suggested Modifications For Handling Fades & Transitions

Thanks jjn I tried to determine what Corel was trying to achieve with PS22 and to be honest it makes no sense (at least to me). The Manual did not help. It appears they are simply trying to edit 'pictures' because it really does not address video editing where motion and audio is involved. When Overwrite Mode is used, the ...

Hi As there have been no objections raised re the suggestions proposed I have submitted an Enhancement Request to Corel for consideration. Cheers

  • Re: Re:Studio 22 Transitions

I think the problem is that the length of the timeline is always protected. If you do this in PS21 with an OUT Transition in Insert Mode you would get the Fade (and the Timeline would be shortened). This I why I believe it would be better to enforce the Timeline Mode setting for adding/changing Fades and Transitions: . INSERT ...

  • Re: Suggested Modifications For Handling Fades & Transitions

Hi It seems that everyone is either happy with the way PS (to 21.5) handles Fades and Transitions or my previous suggestion for some changes was too lengthy/detailed (or too complex). Generally, the issues I have (always long form projects and made worse by the lag), are jerky stop/start video, audio blanks/spikes and very slow ...

  • Suggested Modifications For Handling Fades & Transitions

Hi Im not sure if this might help or cause more confusion, but. Functional and bug issues with Fades and Transitions in PS have been discussed for some time and I guess everyone has their own views as to how they would like them to work. The purpose of this post is to outline proposals that include ...

  • Re: SmartSound SonicFire Pro 6.1.1 update information

Hi After updating to SFP6.1.1 I lost the SmartSounf icon in PS21. Tried a few things but eventually had to re-install PS to get the icon back. Not a big deal. A few tests and it seems to be now working OK. Cheers

  • Re: Studio 20 & 21 - Performance - Lag Times When Editing

Thanks Tony, thats good news on the PS22 front. To summarise, from a CPU perspective, it appears that: acsscotts - Intel i7 6700k 4 Cores/8 Threads Base 4.0GHz On Windows 7 64Bit, PS21.5 has no lag but, slows down during editing and is fixed by a re-start. All Cores/Threads used by the processor. acsscott mentions a ...
