Hi Ira
Is this a problem for all SmartSound tracks, or only single-layer music?
The reason I ask is that I've had a similar issue in PS21 for a long time (I think since the last PS21 update was installed), but it only impacts single-layer tracks on my system. Multi-layer tracks work fine and the length can be adjusted many times on the PS ...

Hi
Sorry to butt in.
Anon125, you are not going to see anything different with the transition. It works the same at each position.
The difference is the part of the two clips used to run the transition. In the middle position the end of the first clip overlaps the beginning of the second clip...an equal portion of each clip is ...

Hi
Other suggestions: It appears that the clips on the timeline are only about 5 or 6 seconds in duration, and the full timeline not shown.
Test 1: Add some longer clips and try to RIPPLE. There may be insufficient 'meat' in the clips to process the transitions.
Test 2: Try to add the Ripple across say 4 or 5 clips immediately following the ...

FWIW - When working with old imported footage in PS22 I have found the following is effective. I guess similar will work in PS25. Go to Editor > Properties and increase the Size to 104 or 105.
Put the scenes on the Timeline and change the properties on the first clip to suit....104, 105 etc. Then, right click on the ...

Hi
Just a suggestion....
Some of the clips selected (probably not all are in the screen shot) appear to be relatively short, possibly less than 3 secs. If transitions are set to overlap in the Control Panel > Projects settings there may be no room to insert the transitions with the Ripple function, causing the Ripple function to grey ...

Hi
I guess you know you could also use the Quick Import function (folder with down arrow) to select and import particular files from the alphabetical ordered list on the HDD to the currently selected project bin in PS21U.

Hi
You could also try to place the pic on a track above your portrait picture and apply Studio PIP to it. Editor > 2D-3D > Effects.
Then play with the Position, Size & Cropping functions to fill the screen with the portion you want.

Hi
I think the folder you are referring to is in:
Users>(your name)>App Data>Local>Pinnacle_Studio_2x (x = Studio version Number such as 23).
Rename the folder by adding something like _OLD.
Restart Studio by running as Administrator.
NOTE: If you cannot find the folder try unhiding Hidden Folders (File ...
