I cannot locate that file in c:\windows, only in the registry i find it but it's part of many many files.

I really thought ''run as administrator'' was going to be the trick. Neither solutions worked. I am going to re-install s12 and be happy that it works. Ive lost patience and too much time with this. Appreciate everyone's help!

The trouble is that not everyone experiences the same problems and I have not experienced yours. Both Imaref and I have made suggestions which we hoped would provide a cure (and normaly do). What you need is a clean installation and so far your'e not getting it.

I have tried regdelete and deleted all s14 files from my computer. I have even uninstalled s12 off this computer. When I go into add/remove programs s14 is still there (s12 completly gone) but you cannot remove it. When you try to uninstall it you get this message:
