• Re: Export for BD hangs

Fully allowed background render to complete. Then went the CREATE IMAGE route. The image created without hang this time. And then a BURN IMAGE. It runs to successful completion. Again the disk appears half full by color. Stick the new disk into the BD player, and poop... once again a tiny bit of video and audio and STOP. Again the ...

  • Export for BD hangs

I wonder if anyone has a resolution on this one? Have seen several posts. I've been working with a movie (not disk) project targeting BD. Yesterday I did a create disk image, and that worked fine. Then went to burn a BD from the image and it appeared the final disk had been appropriately filled (evidenced by half the disk surface ...

  • Re: Rotate video correction

Jin - This was perfect. I had looked in here, but initially thought this was for multiples of 90 degrees. It did a wonderful job of rotating and sizing to get the effect I needed. Many thanks!!

  • Rotate video correction

I have an out-rigged HD video camera I use mounted on my motorcycle, and took some incredible images on a recent trip. The camera has a rotatable lens, and unfortunately I mistakenly took a series of important shots rotated by about 10 degrees off normal. Is there any way to apply tilt correction to these clips in my Avid Studio movie ...

  • Re: Segments of slide show are missing / not rendered

I saw a similar issue in previous Pinnacle versions, and could usually fix it by deleting the render files. Sometimes I had to decrease the amount of zoom in the shot. It generally occurred when the image was high resolution, and when doing a goodly amount of zoom. I was told this was a known Pinnacle bug. But the oddity here with AS is the MOVIE ...

  • Re: Montage text wraps differently in final DVD image.

I would tend to agree, there must be something different. BTW - I greatly appreciate your patience and persistence in trying to help me figure this out. There is no space between U and R. I copied and pasted here: Text 1 is set to ''June 2011 Ellensburg WA''Text 2 is set to ''Freng Family Reunion'' I changed the font to Freehand 521 BT / ...

That's curious.... That AS installed a different font for you and I for the same Montage?? So how did you find out what font the Montage uses for you?I can not see a font choice displayed in the montage editor, only boxes to supply the text, and drop zones for the media.

  • Re: Montage text wraps differently in final DVD image.

Hi, and thank you so much for the reply. I'm at work now, and will get the exact name for sure tonight from home. But it is the only green colored book in the stock montage that come with Avid Studio. The closing segment is the one with problems. It is the text that appears in the last page of the book, before it closes up to reveal the cover and ...
