It has a few noted quirks, but this is probably my favorite feature of all!  Does anyone who uses it know if it is available in Vegas? They really seem support oriented and provide developer resources as well.

I don't use the on screen jog, but rather the Bella Keyboard jog. VERY NICE when it works. I find background rendering will sometimes make it act jumpy. Had to come up with my own map, after upgrading from PS to AS, and for the most part it saves a lot of time, and provides for more precise editing quickly.

I assemble many movie projects as chapters into a disc project. I'll get all the menu chapter links built, and choose a frame for the menu image for each chapter link. Then if I need to adjust a sub-movie duration, it causes the chapter menu images to shift to some different frame of the sub-movie time line, for all chapters after the edited ...

When I edit a sub-movie I need to adjust the duration of the clip on the disc time line that the sub-movie is a part of. When I do this, and with INSERT MODE on, sometimes it will shift all clips after the changed one tight to the edited clip. But sometimes it creates a time gap. See NERO for a nice example of burning to multiple drives. I have two burners on my computer, and being able to use them both when in production mode would cut the time in half. When in production I typically have 50 discs to burn. An annoyance is that when one disc is finished burning it takes the computer OS about 5-10 seconds to see the newly inserted disc. This requires me to wait for the OS ''what to do with this disc'' menu to appear before clicking the START BURN button. If START BURN would wait at least 10 seconds ...

I generally work on projects by creating sub-movies for chapters in the final disk project. Once the disc project is assembled from these sub-movies I find the need to make small changes to the sub-movies. Sub-movies is a fabulous feature by the way. If I understand what you propose... I don't use the library to import from the camera. I still like PMB to manage what ever it can, and it does its own import into its own folders. I also have a ContourHD helmet cam, which wants to use its own folder system because of the geo coded metadata, and its MOV quicktime files don't work in PMB, so ...
