Thanks for posting what you found. Looks like you are working with a movie project. Mine is a disc project containing 3 movie projects on the time line. I fired it up before leaving the house this morning, trying the delete render files first, and then image output to DVD format. If that has failed when I return home I will give your solution a ...

Yes the NTSC widescreen choice was in the ADVANCED dialog from within the exporter dialog. You can choose automatic, or a specific format.
I'm going to try it all again after deleting render files in control panel, allowing it time to render the project, and then see if I can target the DVD output once again.
This is certainly one of the most ...

It is still exporting, so trying to recall from memory, but it was 1) in control panel, project settings. a) based on 1st frame or b) choice of format, and 2) In Studio Exporter dialog, on left side: Export type: Disc, Settings, Type: NTSC wide screen, Don't recall if I had to pick the ADVANCED button here??
Looks like my BD export just ...

Output was NTSC Widescreen that crashed. I did not try SD. I have already started a BD 1440x1080/60i image this morning based on your success there.I can make a project draft this way, but really must get to DVD output for final production. This is my first project since the upgrade to v 17. I've run into similar problems in older versions of PS. ...

Chiming in here with a similar problem. Also running the very latest 17.2 patch. I immediately tried to separate making an image and burning. In my case I get to 87% of creating image. My disc project has 3 movie projects/chapters and is 2 hrs 15 min in total length. First and last chapters are 1080p m2ts. Project export is dumbed down to 720 x ...

Yes, sorry, rather it was Avid Studio 1.1.0 with the library.
I have the 17.1.0.182 patch installed.
I found the culprit. There were 2 improperly truncated MOV files. These came from my Contour HD+, probably shooting when the battery went dead. These play well in Media Player until the end of the file where MP reports an error. ...

Blank (new) movie open, so no rendering is happening. It begins doing the update from watch folders, and dies. Doesn't matter if you are editing or not. I have eliminated editing/rendering as the cause, all it is doing is updating from watch folders.
I have probably 23,000 video and snaps in 300 folders and 3,000 music files in 1,500 ...

As I recall, in my experiments, the duration of the zoom did not matter. It was all about original image size, and amount of zoom.
Definitely a bug we'll probably never see fixed :(

I found it was necessary to limit the amount of zoom when it happens. Usually delete the zoom, and reapply something less. Generally I think it is more likely to happen on a high resolution image. You might try converting the image in the movie to a lower resolution, and then trying again. I get a feeling it doesn't like the math involved in ...

As suggested I did the research at SV site.
They have such a feature on the $700 version, but not the three $200 or less versions.
They restrict to 10 tracks on the timeline for the three $200 or less versions, unlimited on the $700 version.
They have something included called HitFilm. I reviewed the producing a gun shot effect video, and it ...
