• Re: s14 was ok, now won't load any video at all

I tried everything on your list plus I paid $30 for a registry fixing program called RegCure that promised to fix the error 1317 that has been causing the install program to give up. That error code means that the install program can't create a certain directory in this case C:\ProgramData\Studio 14\Data. Now there are no ''ProgramData'' folders ...

Thanks colour. I know a little more now. I uninstalled S12 and the tried to uninstall S14. Uninstalling S12 gave me the error message ''Error 1326 Error getting security:F:\videos\GetLastError:5. But it did uninstall S12. Then when uninstalling S14 I got the same error but then S14 would not uninstall. After much frustration because I ...

  • Re: s14 was ok, now won't load any video at all

Thanks for the response. I have been dragging and dropping video onto the timeline since I got Studio. that means that the correct path is intrinsic in the action. But I tried it your way also and it doesn't work. I have gotten the exclamation point because a file was corrupted before but there is nothing wrong with the files, their paths or the ...

  • s14 was ok, now won't load any video at all

I have been running s14 for a month or more and suddenly it won't load any video files at all. The video box is full of correct thumbnails but when I click on any of them, including ones I made with Studio 14 all I get is an exclamation point. This is with any sort of media file including pictures. I have looked through here and I didn't find ...

This worked perfectly. Thank you! Could I suggest an email to your registered customers telling them of this problem and solution?

Did you ever get this worked out? I just got a problem with Vitascene when I upgraded to Win 7. It appears that there is something wrong with the ProDad interface after the upgrade.

  • Re: optimum home system

VE7AXO that is a very good point. But I want to be ready when they do have a 64-bit program. I already have a few 64-bit programs so the memory is not wasted but... Unless 64-bit is the ''8 track tape'' of the future everything will need to be 64-bit with in a few years. I thought that i had heard that the memory limit of 32 bits was over ...

  • Re: optimum home system

re: ssd vs sata hard drives No comparison in the specs but actual performance for rendering video is another thing. This system lacks really beefed up memory, s super fast CPU and also lacks video card memory and I had wondered how that would effect performance since the popular wisdom says more memory is the only real good ...

  • Re: What size is a video frame?

    >>To be fair to the photography acquaintance, he hasn't made any comments about dots per inch I think that a photographer would think in LPI (lines per inch) not DPI because they think in terms of print media. Photoshop used to allow you to create images using LPI for printing but now they seem to have decided that most ...
