I downloaded the 400-page PDF manual and printed the Index and Table of Contents and put it in a binder. Now, if the PDF of the manual has something useful to say on my problem, I print that out and put it in a binder.  I don;t print out much. The manual is, ah, not very good.

These are 1-5 minute test discs. DV-AVI (interlaced). Now I discover that I can avoid the artifacts by doing a fresh capture to Pinnacle from the original miniDV tape.
