I continue to have this problem of blurry titles with Studio 17. They appear as SD, whereas the video is HD.
I make a title by clicking T to open the Titler. Even at this point the sample text (Your Title Here) appears substandard. Choice of font and Rendering makes no improvement.
Using highest quality Preview, the title looks blurry in ...

Thanks, gents. Clears it up nicely.

Thanks, gents, just saw this.
I use Canon HV 40s (HDV, tape) with a wide angle lens adapter, plus GoPros. And Slik rail mounts, since tripods don't work on a boat.
Being alone, I never fished. Without refrigeration, it seemed wrong to kill a 20-pound wahoo that could feed 40 and have to throw most of it away.

I want to put three videos on one Blu-ray disk. Total time, 45 minutes.
Is a Menu required for that?
How do I place separate disk images on the same disk?
Sorry, still a bit green with 17. I don't see the answer in the Manual under Disk Editor.

Here're the specs. They may not mean what I thought...
Windows 7 was considered obsolete in May 2014, prices much less than Windows 8.

>>>>I have £2000 to spend
I spent about $800 on an 8-core i7 machine (Windows 7, not 8). I use the graphics card it came with.
I just finished a 30-minute project hacked down from 12 hours of AVCHD and Mpeg2, with five Timelines and a variety of media.
Never a hesitation. Run at 100 percent. Renders fast. I can upload to Vimeo ...

Correction:
The solution was to make new titles, creating each new individually.
The problem titles were cut/paste from one title, to preserve formatting.
The issue was odd behavior (flickering, aertifacts) in AVCHD disc play only--issues not visible in MP4 or other files of the same video.

Burning from an MTS file solved most of the problem but still left a slight stutter.
The solution was to check the Advanced box called ''Render completely before...''
Thanks.
