• Re: Studio 14 - change project to NTSC from PAL

I do believe there is a ''bug'' in Studio 14, as you suggested. I started with still pictures, then added the movies. The project consists of both pictures and movies taken with my Canon camera. I have no idea how many frames the Canon creates. I didn't even know there was a difference. What I do know is that I have had a hell ...

  • Re: Studio 14 - change project to NTSC from PAL

I found that out, that you can't change frames after you start a project. I did not know that when I started my project, I have over 20 hours into it, and am trying to get it to run on my DVD player (US type, NTSC standard), which evidently wants 29.97 frames, rather than 25! I even tried importing the 24 frame movie, but the quality of the ...

  • Studio 14 - change project to NTSC from PAL

First, I must say that Studio 14 is the most unfriendly program I have ever used. The capabilities are great, but what ever happened to the KISS principal? I started a project without noticing that it defaulted to PAL format. I spent over 20 hours getting it to what I want, and then created 5 CD's, trying to get ...

  • Re: External Hard Drive Or Internal Hard Drive

I am new to Studio, and seem to be having a problem locating files created by the program. I followed the instructions earlier in this thread to save files onto my external drive, but now I can't find them. Is there a way in Studio to direct all files to a specific location? It seems that under Project Preferences, you can ...

  • arrangement of scenes

I would suggest an improvement to the system to allow you to sort the scenes in order by the description, or alternatively, have a way to capture the scene number and title into a file that can be sorted. In a large file, with over 100 scenes, it is otherwise very difficult to put them in any order other than the original order. In ...

  • Re: listing of scenes

I will have to try searching for scenes by name. What I wanted to do was find a way to put the scenes in chronological order, when they are in random order on the original film (they were copied from 16 mm films with no idea of the dates). I would suggest an improvement to the system to allow you to sort the scenes in order by ...

  • listing of scenes

Is there any way to make a list of scenes, including the name, scene number and length of time? I have converted a number of 16mm films to digital, in a random order because I did not know what was on each film. Now I want to put them in chronological order. I have identified all scenes by year, and if I can put them into a ...

  • any way to not split video into scenes

I have digitized many 16mm movies into one file on a DVD. But when I capture this video, Studio 12 breaks the video into many scenes, many more than there really are. Can I make Studio 12 not split into scenes, and then break the scenes out by myself? Dan

  • import from DVD into Studio 12

I am very new to the Studio program. I am trying to import a video from a DVD into Studio 12. I clicked in Capture, and selected Video/DVD. On the left column of the Capture screen, I selected the file (VIDEO_TS) as the file to import. I choose the Destination, typed a name for the Disk (input file, I assume), and can ...
