I know I'm late to this party, but I had a similar problem where PS25U would display splash screen upon startup, then stop altogether. I resolved it by right clicking on the PS25U icon and selecting ''run as administrator''.
Don't know if this resolves any of the issues posted here, but hopefully it helps.

Thank you. Tried the reset. Got a little past the splash screen to the user experience screen -- then it crashed/stopped/disappeared.

I see from the tutorials that you can round the edges of the rectangular picture-in-picture border. But, is there a way to have the picture-in-picture actually appear in a round or oval border? See attached photo for example of what I mean.

vigor2001:Agreed Tony P. A great beginning to a solid performing tool. If the only complaint right now is the size of the preview window when 6 cameras are used then this feature is off to a tremendous start. I have had a lot of fun using it so far and as citapinc stated I purchased an additional GoPro to get even more camera angles.
