I'm using Pinnacle Studio 19 to create a 2.5 minute ad. In one of the clips I have a series of seven text boxes that appear on screen one after another. I have a number of pictures but unfortunately I don't have a web site to post them from. At any rate the first text boxes comes down from the top. The next six come in from ...

I have run into a problem using clips that I created in Studio 18 using the scene creator. I had a rather large video file of taken with a digital camera. I wanted to split up the scenes so I could edit out bad parts and put transitions between what was left. I thought a quick way to do this was to use the scene creator in the ...

Wow! It never ceases to amaze me how you can find a little loose thread of information somewhere, tug on it a bit, and it shows you to a WHOLE LOT of stuff you don't know! Thanks for the reply!

When exporting to an 8.5G DVD, the information in the ''Preset details'' box (with ''Fit to Disk'' selected) says 8500 kBit/s. The blue and gold graphic says ''Used: 4.44GB=1.52 h'' and below that it says ''Quality: 100%.'' So I go to burn the project on a 4.7G DVD, and it says it wants to use 4.32G with a quality of 71%. Well, I'm not sure why a 4.7G DVD ...

Okay, now I REALLY feel foolish. I just realized that the VIDEO_TS.VOB file, is in fact a .VOB file. If I would have changed that to an .mpg file the same as the others, I would have been able to import them no matter what import method I used. At any rate, now I know that it is not just the VTS_01_X.VOB files that need to ...

Okay, I figured out a work around to the problem. Originally, I copied the contents of the VIDEO_TS folder from the DVD to a folder on my computer, and then changed the .vob files to .mpg files. I then tried importing the files into my project using the Import button at the top of the work space. However, this only displays ''All ...

Okay. Here is the MediaInfo screenshot from the first clip. This is after I changed the extension to .mpg. The clips play fine in Windows Media Player.

I'm having the same problem. Copying the files as suggested above and then renaming to .mpg worked for the video, but after importing, there was no audio.
