    I added water to new system after the first week.&nbsp; Stock Intel fan idle at 42°C and at 53°C after a few hours of use.&nbsp; Water idle is 28°C and after several hours is under 31°C. &nbsp; Pinnacle rendering on new is running around 55°C ..........I remember something like 75-85°C on air alone, but did not record exact temperature before ...

    wow to both.&nbsp; I never use the start menu myself to open any program so you are probably correct.&nbsp; I use an edited AutoHotKey program that lists all my frequently used programs and allows me to open many programs at one time.&nbsp; I was suggesting that within a started Pinnacle17 window, I can't find anywhere to start the screen ...

    Just my opinion. I concur, you graphics card is fine for Pinnacle. With the new Intel X chips out (yesterday Aug 29) that require a new mobo, there will be a lot of first gen-type enthusiasts that will be upgrading systems within the next few weeks.&nbsp; You may be able to buy a slightly used Z87-mobo system for cheap.&nbsp; Get friendly with ...
