• Re: Film Look

Uh that would be Studio 14 (unless I'm way behind the times and they are up to version 134!) CJ

  • Film Look

I searched and read past threads on this subject but still have a question about adding film look to my video clips. I have Studio 134 ultimate collection and checked out Magic Bullet, but there are sooo many choices I'm not sure which one is best for me. I just want a basic ''film look'' added. I tried to open the help took but it just feezes and ...

  • Re: .mov file won't load

ghuck:The easiest way to see this is in the studio video album (where you drag the video from to the time-line). There are three different ways of viewing the album, (Icon View, Thumbnail view and detail view), right mouse click on the video and select detail view, this will display the resolution, fps and duration of the video that studio reads ...

  • Re: .mov file won't load

ghuck:The size of the file should not cause this problem. But it could be the format of the .mov file, what is the resolution of this file? Not sure. Where would I find that? CJ

  • .mov file won't load

Using Studio 14 and never had a problem working with .mov files but I received one from a friend that Studio won't let me import/use. It is a big file 770MB and wondering if that's why it won't let me use it, but that shouldn't be a problem. I can play it on my desktop (plays with Quicktime) with no problems and it looks fine. Any ideas why Studio ...

  • Re: Lost a project, can I get it back

Thanks to all the experts here. But they were not in the recycle bin. I seem to remember it saying something about rename this file (click yes for all). So maybe they weren't deleted. Guess next time I shouldn't be so quick to either change or delete things and check first here. It will be a pain to rebuild this project but at least it's only a ...

  • Re: Lost a project, can I get it back

Oops. I deleted the .(2) and it prompted me to change a bunch of other files and clicked yes to all. Now it is completely gone. Looks like I will be starting from scratch again. Thanks for the assistance anyway. CJ

  • Lost a project, can I get it back

Working on a project today I think I accidentally deleted it. However, when I open up FILE to open projects there is a file folder with its name and a .(2) after its name. Is that a backup file folder? It has 47 MB of content in it but I can't open it up. Is there a way to get this back on my timeline so I don't have to recreate ...

  • Re: Studio 9 file no sound in Studio 14

I made an mp3 out of the audio track (S14 wouldn't allow me to make a wav...it wouldn't let me uncheck the include video box) and it does play now, although not real easy to sync up. Thanks to both you and Pin for the suggestion. Still wish Avid would figure out a way to allow projects made in previous versions to work in Studio 14. CJ
