Hier noch eine kleine Ergänzung zu diesem Problem, welches nach einjähriger Reife zu einem Abschluß gekommen ist.
Klare Aussage (siehe o.g. Parallel Beitrag) seitens Pinnacle, daß die 64-bit Unterstützung unter Windows Vista von nun an nur bis 2GB RAM Arbeitsspeicher gegeben ist.
Eine Konstellation, die kaum realistisch ist, denn ich habe ...

After so many weeks I found my way back to this thread because I'm also affected with this problem.
32-bit OS -> no troubles
64-bit OS -> only running after I have reduced to 2GB RAM
At the end I have ripped of this card. First I really appreciate the efforts of Marc P. who had taken care for this problem.
Unfortunately Pinacle support ...

Today I had a last talk to Pinnacle support and I'm really discouraged all the way. In a few words I was told my PC-configuration is the reason for these errors.
Not easy to understand 2GB are working fine and 8GB causes errors. On the other hand this PC was configured for 3D projects with full use of RAM without any ...

wird die Frage auf die Hardware ausgeweitet, dann wird es schwierig. Ich habe aus einem weiteren Rechner den RAM getauscht und die analoge Aufnahme versucht. Ohne Erfolg. Daher sehe ich den Fokus eher in der Software, bzw. Treibern.
Im Forum habe ich einen weiteren Beitrag gefunden, der das gleiche Problem ...

Hello,
think inthecheeks hit the bulls eye! After I have reduced RAM to 2GB (instead of 8GB) the analog capture via 700-PCI works pretty fine! No failure after one hour of start capture - stop capture.
Again: OS Windows Vista business 64bit, 8GB RAM

Zwischenzeitlich habe ich aufgrund eines weiteren Beitrags in diesem Forum den Fehler einkreisen können. Ich habe den RAM von 8GB auf 2GB reduziert. Mit dieser Konstallation funktioniert die analoge Videoaufnahme tadelos. Ich habe eine Stunde lang 'rauf und runter' aufgenommen: Ohne Fehler.
Scheint es ein Speicherproblem unter Visat 64 bit zu ...
