Just a thought, but with the development of blu-ray, further support for BD (version 2.0 / BD live) would be an advantage. enableing interactive discs for modern blu-ray players.

I am running xp 32 on a custom built machine.
I cant comment on dell cause i have'nt had any experience with them.
did you try to capture using the am capture tool from pinnacle?

I have just tested my HC9 in both DV SP and HDV 1080i modes and I have no issues regarding capturing with s12u it worked flawlessly

when you connect the camcorder to the computer via your firewire, does the system pick up the 'HC9'? if your not sure check the device manager to see if it is listed there.
if your computer is not picking up the camera, no software will allow you to capture, because the system cannot see the device.

A feature which I would really like to see in studio is support for multi camera productions, A way to sync recorded images via time code

I am currently working on Studio 12 Ultimate.
Can someone please tell me what benefit there is in upgrading to Liquid from S12? I have read the specs from the different packages but I have been unable to get a definitive answer.
Does Liquid support camera sync for example?
Would my current capture hardware and (Pinnacle AV/DV2 - ...

I did have a DVD from an English broasting company which I had to import into s11 it too doubled in leangth, I would doubt that it was created in studio. However this does not alter the fact that studio has issues with it's import feature.
In a nutshell, my whole slomo issues were / are because the bottom field was first. I would never of though ...
