• Re: Pan and Zoom on still image

I find this Pan and Zoom nearly useless. I like to do ''Ken Burns'' type panning, i. e., many stops on the same photo. Avid Studio adds these wiggles because when you resize the pan area (zoom) the center moves. When you paste a keyframe the scrubber moves, moving the center and after pasteing there is a wiggle. • Re: Complete Training Video

I'd like to see some owner reviews of ''Complete Training for Avid Studio''. Is it worth the price?

  • Re: AW: Re: What is missing in Avid Studio?

Thanks. Setting in-point was my missing part. At times one starts to fondly remember Studio14.

  • Add 2nd (3rd) video timeline. Make use of Nvidia GPU's.

Well that's it.. My suggestions. BTW good job on recognising tapeless files (.mts). Idiots at Adobe (with all their money (mine too)) can't do it. (CS5 will but that is lame and late.)

  • Re: DVD won't play due to area limitation

It said NTSC but it acted like PAL. I tried another NEW project and made sure from begining it was NTSC and no problem. S I think the problem WAS the project settings although they all seemed okay. Somehow it was stuck on PAL or something. Thanks for the help.

  • DVD won't play due to area limitation

Studio 12 Ultimate. I moved some folders around on C: drive and now the DVD's I produce won't play on any DVD player. Get msg about ''area limitation.'' I tried ''Repair'' program in control panel (Vista 32) but no luck. Must I re-install Studio12? Is there a folder/file I can move back? Thanks, Bill

  • Re: Pan and Zoom Presets

]No problem opening or editing the file with NOTEPAD. The problem comes when I try to save the file in the Pinnacle directory. Vista protects the current files because of Owernship rights (?) or something. Of course the error notice doesn't say anything about that. It simply says some non-informing stuff about it cannot perform that action. I've ...

  • Re: Pan and Zoom Presets

I do have S12. My directory has C:\Program Files\Pinnacle\Studio 12\Plugins\RTFx\StudioXML\Standard RTFX\PanAndZoom-CPU.xml. I double click the xml file a(in IE) and it opens but I can't edit it. Sorry for ignorance but how do I edit? BTW I'm using Vista Ultimate.
