I don't believe that I ever received that offer either. Have been a Liquid user for four years. In fact I never hear anything from Avid. However, I don't necessarily want MC.  I suppose that I am a Liquid Fan Boy too and I keep clinging to the hope that Next Gen will build on the best of Liquid. It sounds to me that you have committed to FCP. I can't see any point in keeping Liquid.

I didn't realise that my Canon 5Dmk2 was an AVCHD camera but if the 7D is then it must be too. I've been using TMPG to import and convert the 5D files. It takes something like x8 realtime to do this.
