• Enable Full-Resolution Preference?

I have been editing and making videos (S11U and S12U) for quite some time and was just wondering if it is safe to have the enabled full resolution preview checked and if it does not interfere at all while making a tape or disc. I always have it checked off and noticed that my monitor seems a little blurry when watching the preview video but ...

  • Re: Double Background Rendering

I had also the same experience once when making a tape. I used the background rendering and when I was ready to make tape, it re-rendered again. As of right now, I have not had the same problem again. I don't know what may happen later on.... Maybe a patch to correct this problem may be needed???

  • Re: Disc Quality too poor

I tried making another Disc yesterday and the quality again came out very low quality (68% for a 1 hr 18 min long video) I had to try for at least 4 to 5 times to get at least an 86% quality. Pinnacle must make a patch to try to correct this problem asap.

  • Re: can I put 130 minutes on a 120-minute DVD?

hello rfrink, you can put from 1 hr of video (high quality) up to 6 hrs or more (low quality) depending on your use. I always record up to 2 1/2 to 3 hrs in a disk to get at least a DVD to S-VHS quality (not to exceed 3 hrs). If it is something really important for you, try your best judgment on what quality you want your videos. When you select ...

  • Re: Disc Quality too poor

Well....today I tried making the same project again (AVI File) into a Disc and to my surprise now I got a very good quality disc (100% for the 18 minute long video), but what I got confused is that I made it to burn directly into the disc and when I pressed the create disc it tells me where I want to store the file. Is this normal? S11U did ...

  • Re: Disc Quality too poor

Hello Jerry, Thanks for your help. I checked the settings and seems S11U and S12U have the same settings installed (Movie Tab is DVD and Target Media is 4.7). Maybe I will try it again later on to see what other results I may get.

  • Disc Quality too poor

I tried making my first DVD using Studio 12U and got surprised with the quality it would come out to. The video I made is 18 minutes long and when I wanted to make a Disc using the Best Quality it came out that I was two minutes over the limit. When I selected the Automatic button, it showed me a 65% Quality. Luckily I still have S9 Plus and S11U ...
