Hi Guys,   Shooting in 720 25p on the jvc gy hm 750, what have people found or can recommend are the best settings to do a slo-mo effect on this type of footage. when i try it seems to be a bit juddery (if that's a word). editing on liquid 7.2   any advice would be welcomed cheers,   phil 

From my experience, .mov can be imported into liquid, but when editing on the timeline it needs to constantly render the file to be able to see anything. when render is off you see no picture, this is just from what i've seen. so it's a real pain trying to edit with .mov.

Yes i have the same problem with liquid 7.2 and vista, i have to delete the lower filters and reboot when the drives have disappeared. everything else works great for me so i see this a little excuse to have a coffee break ( while the pc reboots) when i notice my drives missing ;-)

Hi Lews, I know this question has probably been asked a million times before, but if i re-install avid over itself do i lose all my info i.e. dvd menu's i have made, keyboard settings i've adapted etc. all that sort of stuff. just to be sure before i go ahead and do it,  thanks for the help,  louie

So everything is correct as you have put it. I use these types of tapes: JVC DVM63M High Definition and i recycle standard ones too sometimes and shoot in 25p. i've tried both types in deck to try solve this and still nothing. i thought it might have been shooting HD onto standard tapes but it's not as i've tried it with HD tapes ...

Hi,  Yes i have installed the DX10 device patch, it says liquid ''7.20 Build 4296.''  This is why this problem is more confusing than ever, because i knew i'd need tht patch with the type of card i have. Still Stumped??????
