I have triple boot going. Win 7 64 bit working great. XP where liquid 7.2 works great. I did another Win 7 64 bit setup on separate drive to install liquid but DVD drives no longer are recognized even looking at My Computer.

Okay, solved issue. i cut and pasted it to a new timeline and everything is back to normal. Very strange.

I created video, about 10 minutes. Music plus camera audio. I have opened back up at a later time and the camera audio is silent. I can see the audio line is at the very bottome and you can't drag it up any higher nor can you use the volume slider option. Any thoughts.

I was curious if anyone has tried using Liquid with windows 7. I'm sure it isn't going to be officially supported, but was curious.

7.2. I'll have to check the mark in and see, but typically I just start EZ capture and let it go. I did manage to get it done through the logging tool though.

Using EZ capture, it appears as though the entire 15 min clip captured (it played through on monitor), but then when putting on timeline, there is only 10 seconds there. Any thoughts?
This particular time, it is HDV tape, but it has done it SD video tape as well recently.

I think I know the problem.
When I wanted to use HDV from my HV20, I was very pleased by the tips I've seen here in the Web-board.
The first problem arises when you ''discover'' that the capture is not in the known AVI format for SD. That's why almost everybody starts thinking that the TL has to be ''re-coded'' and rendered.

Thanks very much. The settings for output were on Auto, but for whatever reason, it didn't recognize it properly. I changed setting to 4:3 and also advanced the tape a few seconds and that did the trick. It didn't like the begining of the tape. This tape was done on a different camera.
However, the suggestions got me on the right ...
