I HAVE A DUAL XEON 2.66 HP-WX8000 MACHINE WITH 2 GIG RAM AND XP PRO
IT ALREADY HAS PINNACLE LIQUID SILVER(5.6 VERSION) ON IT WITH THE HARDWARE AND RENDER CARDS - QUESTION....CAN INSTALL 7.2 WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS?
I WOULDN'T RUN THESE PROGRAMS AT THE SAME TIME BUT I WOULD LIKE TO USE 7.2 ON THIS MACHINE WHEN I'M NOT USING 5.6.......ANY FORSEEABLE ...

I'm taking a shot...it's possible that you need an update to your quicktime codecs....are you using the latest Avid 7.2? An easy fix would be to convert the Quicktime files to AVI as a workaround.

Shot in Standard 60i HD? It really looks clean....and are there any issues when editing the footage in liquid? direct encode? or does it have to re-render?

i was able to capture svideo thru the standard capture window - never use e-z capture - but the question is moot for me now - I picked up a probox so I'm set. Thanks!!!!

Alright - so i finally got a Moviebox 710 with studio 12 to use with my Avid liquid 7.2 - everything works but analog capture(live capture thru y/c).........no video on computer logging/capture screen and no audio on meters - does however play both audio and video thru to the monitor.....any advice?

Not impossible to find ....but.... Best place and easiest place to look is a local computer repair shop that probably has a junk room or junk box - they can also size up your old transformer to make sure they have the correct replacement....I bought a couple of used ones ladt time mine went out.....if that doesn't work - call Ted at ...

But remember - As Lew said - The box will only convert HD to SD through the Composite or Y'C outputs - NOT the Firewire. same as the Pro BoB
