I forgot to mention, this does not capture nor burns to a DVD.  It supports some Studio activation keys but I do not have information which are not.

Since it was released, it's free for download. This video editor should support H.264 for Pinnacle Video Transfer. We are shipping this software on PVT packages now. There are reports that they include this on some PCTV packages but that needs to be verified with marketing first.  

There are free converters on the internet.  Look for one.  Try looking in videohelp.com AVI and MPEG are supported file types by Studio. This is the reason why I recommended these two. When you click on the link in my last post and in here, it will bring you directly to the Studio 10 installation with Windows Vista page.  Nothing else to do.

I am glad this one worked well.  Keep us posted if you found a way to enhance the audio capture.

The information that was passed to me is that the hardware itself is not Vista compatible. It is possible that Engineering department has tried to create one but did not succeed. If we were able to create one in the future, we will update our driver download page but as of now, I would say that you can only use it with Windows XP. I feel sad ...

Hello Samuz, Welcome to the forums. This device is not quallified for Vista. Our hardware drivers here does not have Vista drivers for your model.

I would go with towbar's suggestion to finalize the disc first using the camera utililty. Then import back to Studio. Another work around is to convert, not just rename, the vob files to real mpg or AVI.
