Does that not make the image with bars left and right top and bottom after you fit x and y.

Hey all, been a while.
Is there a way to make a DVD that has a continuous playback loop? I have each image at about 6 sec each with disolves, whole timeline is about 40 min, which I'll likely double on the timeline, the client would like it to play all evening at the event and not have to keep hitting play. Is this possible?

In MC, be sure to import them with the 601 option selected in the options instead of RGB. It should ''fast import''.
Then, just put them in a timeline and export them using DV Stream (RGB in the option). You will be able to import the .DV files in Liquid and it will see them as AVI files.

Thanks, I found that in Sorenson squeeze I can make DVD MPEG files and looks great. seems like such a pain the you know what.

I have compressed 1 which comes up the full 30 min and can edit quickly. Doing the same process with another camera angle also 30 min I get the WMV which is 30 min however when i import that one, it always comes in only at 47 seconds, what is going on with this.

Importing into MC takes quite some time as well... not really sure that is the best solution as my MC is a trial version and will xprire soon. What does one do in liquid to import and use MOV files.

I was able to make Sorenson squeeze compress them into wmv files and works fine. If one does not have sorenson what is th work around for the rendering time for MOV files like this.

I've imported a 30 min MOV file for a client.
On the timeline only have the last 10 minutes and am trying to render this on a 4:3 timeline 29.97
render claims it's going to take 26 hours. I've even cut the segment up into little segments. My render drive is more then 3/4 empty.
What's the deal.

Found the color correction issue on the Avid forum,
Check either the special menu or the clip menu and make sure ''render on the fly'' is activated.
Works fine now. still crashes from time to time though
