I was quite surprised to find out that a few download sites (Brothersoft etc) does have 7.21 installer, but they do not offer direct download link. However, they redirect you to old Pinnacle site where you can login and after that the Pinnacle site serves you the file!

I had to reinstall Liquid recently and now I can't find the patch. It seems to be taken down from Avid KB also. Could someone please share the patch somewhere?
Edit: Just to clarify, the Avid KB does have the article, but the download link at http://secure.digidesign.com/services/avid/kb/downloads.cfm?digiArticleId=43652 does not work ...

You should also try free VST plugins available for Liquid:

Just copy the .dll files to directory ''Program Files\Avid\Avid Liquid 7\PlugIns\VST'' and restart Liquid. Plugins will be available in Project view->Library->Plug In Clip FX (a rack folder)->Audio

I'm using Liquid to capture footage which should be then converted to h.264 Quicktime before taking it to FCP. As Liquid can't directly encode to h.264, I'm just fusing the footage and using Quicktime Pro to convert it to h.264 .mov. A colleaque of mine who edits the footage on FCP says that the field order on exported files is wrong. As we are in ...

Some ''hybrid crossover'' cameras with both HDD and SDHC have option to record on SDHC and move the shots to HDD later. At least some Panasonic cams (like HDC-HS9) can do this. However, the camera has to be connected to power adapter when moving material, battery power isn't enough for some reason.
