I got the former model H10, and it works splendidly. The PS3 can play most formats anyhow.
For Windows 7 users, who have problems finding their DVD or Blurayplayer/recorder in the system, thats a Windows 7 issue, cause some dll is new in Windows 7, that interferes with some editing and -burning programs (such as the vegas from Sony). There is ...

Regarding the upgrade programs of Microsoft. It will be a bit different for european users. One will possibly be able to purchase Windows 7 as an upgrade to whatever conditions - yet, europeans will need to make an installation from scratch, no matter if they have had XP, Vista or the latest release candidate installed already.
The reason is ...

Guys, I am seriously stunned! Just tested the result on DVD and its great, no stuttering. so far I can only recommend Windows 7, of course having Liquid installed as discribed above (each and every exe.file changed to compatible xp SP2 mode. after unzipping the full setup-file in compatible mode XP Servicepack 2) And no VHD ...

Thanx for the reply! Have done that and still, even though it shows Sony under Devices in Liquid, one needs to click on sony first (by the way, not only after rebooting, but also after having shut down the program and restarted as well.
Ok, if that is the only bug, i can live with it, I suppose...
I noticed a bit stuttering during playback ...

Later the ...

At this point I'd still go with HDV as well, especialy since those cameras (meaning the smaller ones) still have a very good picture quality and are real cheap meanwhile.
Another thing to consider: Doesn't Canon offer new AVCHD cameras with a higher datarate than standard AVCHD? For what I've read its a great quality, but not all ...

For a business partner I have to suggest a cheap but relatively good quality hdv solution (with tape) in order to be compliant with our own equipment and with liquid as well.
I found out, that propably the Sony HDR HC9E is still a good compromise, but learned it also offers this x.v.clour space. Now, before he starts shooting with wrong ...

As we're working on a project speeding up clouds for a long period of time we need some info on the settings. Linear timewarp seems to be perfect, but what about those options: cut fields, mix fields, cut frames, mix frames, trailing and progressive? I suppose motion detection ought to be checked anyhow?
Besides the recommendation of trying and ...

Have just read, that Canon will present a new amateur camcorder where the AVCHD works with 25 mbit/sec., which could result in a pretty good quality without the sideeffects of MPEG2 formats (freezing pictures for example). Too bad, the guys from Liquid don't add that into the program but hope, it will be working fine in the next gen.

So far the patch solved some problems with the HD2600 DX10 card and it seemed everything worked fine.
Now today we received the message at opening Liquid: The graphic driver of your HD2600 card is too old. Please actualize the driver. You can get it at the vendor. Pease close Liquid now. (of course all of this in german, since we got the ...
