I use of lot of PPT slides. I res them up to photo shop to 600 dpi , then import with 'no scale' in the image impoat properties dialgue found in the control pannel, then apply 2d filter to pan across the image. Great results!

Thx for pointing me to time line properties --I had set it to PAL rather that NTSC -- my goof --totally.

I imported from a tape -same as always. Full DV AVI --not problems till I drop it on the time line. There is a wide black border around the image --and it gets wider if I turn off the over scan in the video monitor inlay. I'm assuming that 64 bit environment also means Vista, and appears to be a problem. I'm buying a new system to run Media Composer 2.7.2 and was hoping to put liquid on it as well.

When I boot EZ capture it offers 4:3 and 16:9 import option. I shot 16:9 on a PD170 in DVCAM mode.

This is a roundabout way but it has worked for me.
I took a low resolution video that had been compressed for the web. I imported it into Photo Shop using the ''IMPORT VIDEO TO LAYERS'' option. Each frame becomes a layer in Photo Shop ( it will only take 500 frames per clip).

I have done this by stretching the DVD menu out to the length of the video---lose the back ground image so the video shows through. DVD menus loop automatically. I then added links to specific parts of the video. Great for KIOSK or trade show use.

In addition to the above, add a gel to the light behind the subject and baffle it so its on the subject and not the screen. Use a color opposite green the color wheel. This helps helps seperate the subject from the backgound.
