Thanks again for sharing this work around. Its clearly driver issues.For those who might ask, ''Why do I have to keep moving the card in different slots?'' Moving to another PCI slot re associates the audio card with another IRQ which creates a new pairing of shared interrupts.

Thats a very good idea, however the noise is coming from the fans and the headphones don't seem to cancel that out for everybody.

Haven't really tried water cooling on my part, but I'm very interested and scared of it at the same time. I have a good feeling that this error message is caused by the Studio program being pointed to your old Sound card drivers and it might be confused trying to look for it after try different cards.

For your first question. You will get better looking edges with HD shots and even if its scaled down to SD there will still be a noticeable difference. I suggest trying it and comparing it with one another, it maybe worth the effort.
