I guess I talked too soon. Apparently the  SDHC cards cannot be formatted to UDF on the PMW-100 so you can't do 50mbs 4:2:2 on SDHC cards which kinda crosses this camera off the list. $1000 for a 32Gb SXS card is a 1000 times beyond ridiculous.

You can get SDHC adpaters the get rid of the need to buy SXS cards. I am talking a look at the SonyPMW-100 XDCAM HD422, real good deals on it right now with $500 rebate, any used it, opinions?

TVJohn:I know it is out of your range, check out the Sony EX-1R.   I like the EX-1R. I don't like the $1000 SXS cards it require however.
