Here is a new grading sample I am working on shot with profile with a little more range than CPF-Log. It's kinda the look I am going for.
Numa Falls FS100 Grading Sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVIvgPk_21I
I shot this waterfall with a Sony HC-3 about 7 years ago. There is no comparison to what comes out of an Sony FS100, it is a thousand ...

The CPF-LUT profile is used only for setting levels when looking through the FS100 eyepiece, it is overblown on purpose to make it easier to get the shot right. Then you set the camera profile CPF-Log to do the actual shooting in a much flatter capture so that highlights are not blown, and then you grade it in post. The sunny sample I agree ...

LewS:The fact that a project can only have one sequence (like Pinnacle Studio) is a non starter for me. I use multiple sequences in almost every project and do nest them into a final edit. The way sequences can be tabbed in Edius is one of my favorite features. I also like the fact that you can create and save multiple screen layouts (like MC). I ...

Surprised to see the forums are still here.
So I'm having a little Summer Fun With Grading and I would appreciate some input cause I really don't know a lot about it. So here is the situation, I have a Sony FS-100 on which I usually use the default picture and fix it up later to my preferences. In order to get more of out this fantastic camera's ...

It has an audio input as well which is nice. But it's the quality I am really enjoying. I use it for BRoll (a Sony FS-100 is my main camera) and for closeups in live music ...

I was trying to figure out if the extra 4 thousand to jump to the FS700 or it's slow motion capabilties. I put together a little demo just doing slow motion in an NLE. It's no where near as smooth but it doesn't cost anything: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XB-IRMQ39Ic

This new Sony Camera might be the dream camera a lot of people were waiting for - large sensor - a lot of features - shoulder design - around $4000.
Perhaps not quite as good an image as a FS100 but in the ball park. Coming in Oct. It's made onto my consideration list - I was about to jump for the FS100 and i might still - but now ...

I'm curious what are you guys doing about the color noise buzz from Dslr video? Using Neat Video maybe?

astevens:Just upgraded to Adobe CS6 and IMHO, CS6 is like having Liquid on steriods.
I tried Premiere CS6 for a few weeks, really hated it, too slow to do anything. It's integartion with PluralEyes is practically prehistoric. I deleted it before the 30 day trial expired.
But back to the question at hand what value does a Liquid 7 ...
