If you are happy to let your 200 or so bucks go up in smoke upgrading then upgrade now. You have to live with the expectation that if something doesnt work in Liquid for you then you are stuck with it. What you get by upgrading now is the possiblity that Avid may (will?) throw us an upgrade path so you end up paying say another 200-300 ...

Liquid is EOL, Pinnacle nor Avid have to fix anything. At the end of the day, its up to Avid/Pinnacle to decide if they want to keep the Liquid customers or let them go.
