Page 156 of the S12 manual gives no hint of changes in the PIP controls for scale and crop. I hope you're mistaken that they've been abolished or occultly shoved into a separate tool.

But are the ''markers'' primarily a tool on the edit mode, or also a means to navegate a chapter with NXT and PRV keys in disc playback? Is the ''help key'' version of the manual the same as the PDF (or printed) one on this or other topics?

glus: you can use an ATI or Nvidia card with the H.264 feature.
Which cards come with, or can be upgraded to use, the codecs or features in question?
Not very many devices come with spec sheets that boast ''full support for AVCHD / h.264, including 24p.''
Which of these cards will ...

New graphics, new Chapter 6 on montage. Much of the rest looks familiar, with bits of change here and there.
Still no file export to AVCHD? Looks like the workaround remains the same: create disk image, do not burn, extract mt2s file from stream folder.
No mention of ''smart rendering'' or the equivalent. Unless ...

The system specs are certainly adequate to edit AVCHD at 1440x1080 60i. The export specifications of a Studio project will not affect the preview parameters, since Studio works from the native files, not proxies. Thus, it does not make preview easier to set the project specs to 720x480.
Is the ''jerky video'' you refer to mean in ...

Surely Pinnacle timed the release of Studio 12 with far north folks in mind. With any luck, and if the sled convoy is not ...

There are various configurations of the Acer Aspire 6920 series. Only the 6422 has a BluRay drive, and the company site specs don't make it clear if that's just BD-R or BD-W too. The graphics card is quite good. The 2.5 ghz core 2 duo processor is quite OK for 1440x1080i HD video, but a tad slow if you ever edit ...
