Thank you! May be a stupid question buy how do you know it is 1920 x 1080? It didn't say that anywhere in the clip properties or in the Canon instructions!

The setting we used on the HG10 may be part of the problem, we used the HXP setting, which according to Canon ''involves the least MPEG4 video compression, which translates to a bit rate of 15 Mbps''. When I look at the clip in Studio, in Setup options/Project format it says 1440 x 1080, 25 frames/sec., 16:9 interlaced. In future it may be better ...

The PC with the above spec is £659 on the Dell website. Would you recommend it to edit AVCHD footage from a Canon HG10? IF I was to replace my current HP PC I would like to be sure that the new one works with Studio!
