Actually, nothing has changed with S14U.  It's the same as S12 and earlier versions; its a NLE video editing program.  Smartsounds is integrated into various other NLEs.  As such, Smartsounds could be used with S14U.  So, the problem comes down to a disagreement between Pinnacle (Avid) and Smartsounds... $money.  ...

I received this along with the SN for my S14U download.  The Service Code came with a Serial Number (SN). WHAT is this SN to be used for ?  Thanks.  

    Yep, looks like lots of BUGS in S14U..... CRASH city.   Also, Pinnacle needs to work on speeding-up S14U.  It is slow.  Is there anyway to optimize it by giving it priority for running using MS Vista Home Premium - 32bit ?  That might be helpful.

My Smartsounds collection cost me about $300 and are as follows: Cinematic Excellence Sentimental Vacation, Movie Music Sound Palette 5, Logos & Stingers 1 or 2 more that I can't locate, right now I wish that I could use them in S14 Ultimate Collection.  If not, its a heck-of-a-waste.  Geeezzzzzz !!!!   Shame ...

I finally got S14 downloaded and installed.  My 1st impressions:  1)  BUGS - it crashes rather frequently.  Sometimes, it crashes, then recovers after a few minutes.  2)  Its slow to load; sometimes real slower I have a pretty fast quad-core computer with 4gbs of RAM. Now, to start the debug process.  

My keys and download link just came in an e-mail and I'm downloading it now.  Its HUGE and will take a few hours.  I'm at 10% after one hour downloading.
