'' I have the software installed on a 256GB SSD. The name that task manager provides is ''tigo SSD''. It has about 20GB's of free space left on it.''
That's what you said. Makes me wonder, do you have Pinnacle installed on the boot drive of your computer, or a different drive. Not usually a good idea to install on other than the boot ...

And don't forget to delete the background render files. Maybe there is a setting where that location can be assigned to somewhere else in case you forget. An ssd can fill up very quickly. Also, check Windows for hidden files on that drive. All kinds of programs can cause your drive to fill up.

Television is in the REC-709 color-space and computers are in the RGB color space. Software designed for video tends to operate in the REC709 color space while ...

Thanks! I've bookmarked your tip. Not just cameras use mxf files. Your tip might come in handy for converting files from an older version of Media Composer, another editing program I often use, though Pinnacle has been what I've gone to for most of my work the last eight months or so.

One advantage of having my old machine for so long (and having used far less powerful machines for even longer) is that it's hard to forget that it's possible to run out of resources when working on a project. So I devise how I work accordingly. The time I'd gain from buying a new computer is insignificant compared to the amount of time ...
