• Re: Is V16 re encoding 60P video for export to identical 60P file?

Camcorders metric for resolution is lw/ph, that is line width per height. That would make it a measure independent of format. Pretty neat. When looking at their reports, I only paid attention to the numbers= higher number is better. Eugene

  • Re: Something Corel and Pinnacle should think about...

This is a subject dear to my heart. JVC had a $ 5000.00 4K camera at the 2012 CES in Vegas A good start and not that expensive compared to my first HD camcorder in 2005. I just bought a Panasonic HC-X900 camera from B+H for under $700. This camera has a viewfinder and is renowned for the outstanding video it puts out. I ...

  • Re: Is V16 re encoding 60P video for export to identical 60P file?

Thank you jjn, I have had the 900 camera ( for sale at under $700 at B+H) less than a week so yes, I did use the same 580 footage when first working with V16. You are correct, it is the footage of the 900 that made me sit up and take a closer look. (And start this threat) It appears so suffer more, using the same test scene, perhaps ...
