Try running Edition.exe with administrator rights. Navigate to Edition.exe in the Avid/program folder, right-click on Edition.exe and click on compatibility. Select the Administrator rights.

I have been using TDko Pro with Liquid on both W7 beta and RC1 with no problems. I doesn't require to much changes and runs like it did in XP. I have UAC turned off (nuisance) and have Edition.exe set to run in Administrator mode. No other changes.

Try turning off the UAC. Sometimes spawned subprograms will also require such rights.

When I installed 7.2, I did nothing special and all the proBob drivers installed correctly. That was the case with both Beta2 and RC1.
I looked at your profile and nothing really pops out as a problem. Try turning off UAC and then installing/starting up 7.2 to see if that helps. Maybe some of the online guru's ...

A couple of days ago, did a quick EZCapture - 30 min long. It worked properly but did halt 2 times, requiring me to match up segments in ALE to make a composite stream. Capture was from low-end handicam. Halt could have been due to cam or tape error. No consistancy in it. But the capture and control worked ...

I was originally and also when I saw the UMI issue. UAC is now off but haven't revisited the issue. Good thought.

I did install without any hangups. And I am not running in compatibility mode. The only tweek was that after launching ALE, I noticed an ''!'' in the error icon on the toolbar bottom (forget the real name). The message said something about UMI error. So I made the UMI.exe with administrator rights and the ! went away.
