Avid FX doesn't come WITH Media Composer. It's part of the 3rd party apps which comes when you buy the full package or on some upgrade packages as Liquid's one. Honestly Fred I don't see any rolling shutter. I have moved the camera too fast to make it happen but I haven't seen it. I read about this and show some videos on a model that was a pre production unit. But I don't see it.

DSLR is the new revolution in digital cinema and they are the best thing for manual shooting. F/stop ISO and great DOF. All manual. Audio as in XLR inputs are not a part of the image. And a great selection of lenses.

Nope MC is not slow. I have said the exact same thing to Mark Harvery before I made the transition to MC. MC is as fast as Liquid. Premiere is slow. For Edius I can't say as I have study it very few times. The natural transition for Liquid users as I see it, given that Liquid was the best in the market for it's level, is Media Composer which ...
