• Re: Syncing clips using Trim with Shift+T or Shift+click

jjn:The second part of you post - having to have all the tracks occupied - is definitely a bug. If there are empty tracks, Shift Click doesn't work. I have reported it. I tend to delete unused tracks rather than put a place holder on the them. Yes, I am getting into the habbit of deleting the empty tracks. It doesn't come naturally though ...

  • Where are the rendered and project files in S22 stored and when/how do they get removed?

In Studio 15 (and earlier) there was an option to remove rendered files. You could remove all rendered files or just the files associated with non-open projects or just the files in the currently open project. The latter was often vital to force a fure-render of clips in the timeline. Does S22 have a similar option? Even with this fubction, in ...

  • Syncing clips using Trim with Shift+T or Shift+click

I have two questions regarding what I call the ''keeping in sync'' mode in S22. By this I mean the function which is enabled by pressing Shift+T or Shift+Click on a trim point. (1) Is there a one-click function or a single key shortcut to enable the Shift+T function. I realise pressing shift is not a big deal... except I keep forgetting to ...

  • Re: Shift CTRL doesn't seem to do anything for me?

Hmmm. I was not the first in that thread to use the word clunky. In any case, clunky, in this sense, simply means ''awkward''. Myself and the OP in that thread were both finding S22 ''awkward'' to use. I suspect you do not have a full command of the English language or perhaps you simply misunderstood my meaning. I especially regret your ...

  • Re: Giving up on 22 ultimate

As of today I have 22.2 but I've not used it yet. I've said in another thread that the changelog mentions a fix for the black out after a transition.

  • Re: Shift CTRL doesn't seem to do anything for me?

''Seems more a PEBCAK than real bugs '' Are you replying to me here? Yes, certainly in some cases it's down to me but only because I'm on a huge learning curve. However, I'm not sure which coment you are referring to (if indeed you do mean me)? Which ''bug'' (or not) is it that you think is down to my ignorance? The transition ''issues'' ...

  • Transition Reverse Not Working and other issues.

This is in response to TonyP in different (non-related) thread asking me to be specific about this topic and some other off topic issues. Just to make clear what I was moaning about... Many of the HFX transitions do not work in reverse, which they did in older versions of Studio (I had S12 and backwards). This applies to about 90% of all HFX ...

  • Re: Shift CTRL doesn't seem to do anything for me?

Sigh! I'd tried placing the scrubber then pressing ctrl shift. I'd tried holding the mouse button then pressing ctrl shift. But I never pressed ctrl shift THEN clicked the mouse. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Thanks.

  • Re: Studio 22 resize timeline with right-click not working

WOW! How bizarre. You are spot on (again). No, it was not check marked. But how did it become uncheck marked?? I've not been in that menu since I first setup S22 about 2 months ago. Weird. Thank you.

  • Shift CTRL doesn't seem to do anything for me?

In a tutorial that I just watched - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-fK1W9lEzY&feature=youtu.be - the keys Shift Ctrl were apparently used to select everything on the timeline to the right of the edit point. How is this done? If I place the scrubber at the start of a clip (or anywhere else) and press Shift then Ctrl or Ctrl then Shift or ...
