• Re: Pan & Zoom help needed (PS22)

R_Vera:Why don't you make your pictures by using PS12 and then make an AVI file (or whatever format you need) and then just import your file into PS22. Yes that could be done but the reasons why I'd prefer to use PS22 exclusively include... (1) In theory the PS22 Pan & Zoom is a lot more sophisticated than PS12. Among other things, it has ...

  • Re: Pan & Zoom help needed (PS22)

R_Vera:Have you seen this video tutorial. It applies for all versions of Pinnacle Studio. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8QfFhLBXiE Yes I have thanks. However, like most of his videos, it is really just a starting point and most of what he shows is obvious (to someone who has used P&Z in other software). I guess I'd need the next ...

  • Pan & Zoom help needed (PS22)

Long question... not meant to sound like a rant!Is there any sort of tutorial or explanation on how to use Pan & Zoom in PS22 (or any other version of PS that uses the same Pan & Zoom functions as 22)? Having used Pan & Zoom in PS12 for over a decade Im struggling to use this feature properly in PS22. I am getting the results I want ...

  • Re: Lightning Bolt Effect?

It appears vtf files are used in Corel Video Studio? It also appears that CVS uses exactly the same installation of the multi cam editor that is installed with PS22. Also found tutorials on using weather effects (including lightning) in Video Studio. None of which can be replicated in PS22 as far as I could tell. Never mind. The storm has now ...

  • Re: Lightning Bolt Effect?

I've been digging... Within the Studio 22 folders. I found a file called lightning.vft. It resides in a subfolder (with lots of other subfolders) at C:\Program Files\Pinnacle\Studio 22\programs\MultiCam\vft_plug. Now, I maybe about to stray off my own topic here and I must admit I have no knowledge at all about the multicam editor in PS22 - ...

  • Re: Lightning Bolt Effect?

R_Vera:Why don't you just make the clip you need the lightning with PS12 and convert it to whatever file format you need and insert it into PS22 movie project you need it in. Yep, that's what I have done. I asked about a lightning bolt effect for S22 in case there was now something better. The Bravo one for S12 isn't very configurable ...

    It's a nice coincidence though.

  • Lightning Bolt Effect?

Does Studio 22 have a lightning bolt effect? Or, is there one available anywhere? In Studio 12 I have an RTFx called VRTLightning which is in an ''album'' of RTFx effects called Bravo. It works ''OK'' and I still have it installed for S12 but I'd like something for S22 - and hopefully something a bit better. I do not remember where the Bravo ...

  • Re: 7 Years of disappointment

Well I've owned 8 of the 16 (?) versions of Pinnacle Studio going back to v1 in 1999. I've used it on many different versions of Windows from 98 to 10. While I have recently moaned quite a bit about certain functions in S22 that I don't like, I can honestly say I have never had a major problem with any version of the program continually ...
