Just to update a reply I gave to Saby's post above where I said some of the 2D-3D transititions work on titles/captions.
I must apoligise, I misunderstood your meaning of'' 2D-3D'' because I'd forgot there is a specific transition category (folder/album) with that name. I had though you were just referring to standard 2d transitions.
So, just to ...

saby: Yes the transitions you mention (or some of them) do work and can be useful but I was hoping to recreate a specific one as explained below...
culpanr: Firstly thanks for all your information, especially the bit that said ''an interesting (but unintuitive) workaround .... is to reverse the transition!!''
This works perfectly. You must ...

I'm using Studio 22 and for the first time since buying it a couple of years ago I want to do something that I used to do regularly in Studio 12.
Using the standard title editor I create lots of titles/captions that I overlay on top of clips. I often place the titles in a box to make what I call a ''name plate'' caption. I usually make ...

Yep, just moments before your reply I thought - ''aha what about the trash can....?''. As you say, no joy.

Well, your answer clears up the delete question but sadly means I am going nuts!
That aside, yes - the question did (unintentionally) have two meanings. But I certainly agree that it ''Should''.
Is this still the case with the latest version of Studio? Not that I would buy it JUST for its transition delete function if one had been ...

Just wondering if there is a one-click or keyboard shortcut for removing a transition from the timeline in PS22?
I've recently installed PS22 on Win11 after using it for 3 years on Win10. For whatever reason, each time I want to remove (delete) a transition from between two clips, my instinct is to hit the delete key on the keyboard while the ...

Many Thanks Saby, that thread was very helpful.
In short, the solution is just to copy the whole of C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Pinnacle_Studio_22 from backup to Win11.
It all ''appears'' to have worked. Time will tell if it causes any unexpected side issues.
Thanks Again.

In Short: Does anybody know which files of folders contain the Project Bin and
Collections info and can they simply be copied from an old installation backup so that Studio will pick
them up on my clean install?
In Long:
I've recently got myself a shiny new PC with Windows 11 on it, replacing a 9 year old PC with Win10 on it.
I've got ...

This question got me wondering, exactly where does PS save all its project data? I have a program on my PC that shows me which files are being written to the system at any one time...
I see that every time I change anything within a project a Recovery file is written with a name like doc6b800050.xml to ...

Back in 2019 I started a thread about the various Pan & Zoom editors in PS22, none of which are perfect but all of which are (mostly) useable.
I pointed out several isss and it led to one of the developers telling me he agreed that Pan & Zoom was faulty and it would be fixed in a later version.
So, have the following issues been fixed ...
