Ik heb hier ook last van gehad in Studio 12. Het gebeurde eigenlijk alleen met Dvd's die ik importeerde, die ik had gebrand met mijn Hard-Disk video recorder. Ik heb nooit een goede oplossing gevonden. Ik vermoed een incompatibiliteit in de MPEG2 codering van de Hard-Disk recorder, die door Studio 12 onder WIndows fout geïnterpreteerd wordt.

Er is een speciale (Engelstalige) draad op het forum over Windows 8.1 problemen met de oudere versies van Studio. De oplossingen voor Studio 16 lijken niet altijd te werken voor Studio 15 en ouder.
