• Re: Storyboard weakness?

mcperry:On my 16:10 widescreen monitor I can get 48 clips maximum using S14. With S11 I could get a lot more clips - cannot remember the exact number though. In Studio 11 I can get 96 clips showing on the storyboard - double what S14 can show! The album and preview areas resize themselves much better in S11 than S14 - ...

  • Re: S14 Scene Detection

With my mini-DV camera connected and selected as the IMPORT FROM device, there is no movement on the audio level bar. Perhaps your device behaves differently. [click to view image]

  • S14 Scene Detection

In previous versions of Studio - at least as far back as S8 - there were CAPTURE options in SETUP. With S14's new IMPORT function this has all changed - for the worse. If I wish to edit a file which is already on my computer, such as a file recorded from TV - I double click the file in the Album and scene detection automatically ...

So much screen space is wasted by the GUI. Each of the 3 component windows of the GUI should be resizeable to suit each users needs and monitor.

So Smartsound claim that they wil not be amending the Studio plugin, but does that really stop Pinnacle from creating the plugin for S14? Or is it a copyright or other legal issue? Maybe Pinnacle does not have the expertize to write the plugin. The ball seems to fully back in Pinnacle's court, so what can you do for us, your ...

  • Re: FEATURE REQUEST ROUND-UP (sticky please)

And yet another.... In the AUDIO mixer box there is a drop-down option allowing Stereo, Surround and Dialog selections. The default is ALWAYS stereo. The drop-down list should remember the ''last used'' option, or preferably add a new option for this in Video and Audio Preferences in Setup.

You can choose your average bitrate which acts ...
