This is the only way I could resolve the issue' ''After repeatedly going back and forth regrading this issue I decided that I would again purchase the plug-in even though my original purchase was suppose to include a functional blu-ray plug-in. ...

I have tried to get in touch with technical support and have sent them my invoice as well as attaching screen captures showing the the requirement to purchase the already purchased and installed plug-in. I'm trying to be as clear as possible. Still waiting for an answer from them.

  • Blu-Ray plug-in installed but still requires purchase

I upgraded to ver. 23 ultimate and received the blu-ray plug-in as part of that purchase. After a successful installation of the upgraded program, I installed the blu-ray plug-in. When attempting to author a blu-ray disc, I am faced with the the request to purchase the plug-in from the disc drop down menu. Please advise.

  • Re: PS23 Thoughts

Saby, who is this Glaus and how do you get it touch with him? I have seen posts in the past with his name mentioned specifically with regards to the blue ray plug-in. I am also contemplating an upgrade from ver, 21 to ver. 23 but will need to use the plug-in. Does the plug-in have to be purchased with every release?

  • Re: Timeline editing versus Delivery

jjn-Yes, the latter would apply ''re-frame the 4k footage without quality loss''. Thanks for answering. I wasn't sure about quality loss and which tools but if some tools create a degradation then that is good to know.

  • Timeline editing versus Delivery

I have started filming in 4k h.264 mov format. My delivery will be either mp4 or blur-ray disc both as hd video. Would I be better off editing in an 4k timeline or a hd timeline. The reason for the 4k is the ability to edit with more headroom for final hd output.

  • Re: Pinnacle Studio 21.5 Ultimate NBFX image on Screen

Most likely it was a failure to render. You may have to reboot and therefore reload the timeline. I had a similar problem with the nbfx garbage matte effect.
