glus:
Here's what we did in the comparison tests:
In our comparison we observed that S9 had good clarity, especially on text, but had some color problem; S12 had closer color, but poor resolution and fuzzy text; S14 had better resolution and improved text quality.
Glus,
WHEN was this test done? We've been complaining ...

Don't get too excited yet.
As far as I know, there is no way to use non-Scorefitter music. Yes, it is MIDI-based, but it is not a interface to MIDI music in general.
It only works with the music tracks Pinnacle provides, and so far their selection is limited.
For lots (and lots) of reading, here is a thread regarding SmartSound in ...

Anybody know a free audio file converter?
I like dBpowerAMP. It's free and is easy to use. After installation, you can simply right-click on a music file and you will have a ''Convert'' option on the pop-up menu.
Ah ha! It even does AAC.
Huge range of audio codecs supported: mp3, mp4, m4a (AAC, iTunes ...

I've also got Badaboom and that rips through video encodes using CUDA. It actually shows you the frame rate during the ripping and the difference is enormous when using GPU.
Ah, yes, Badaboom. I've never used it, but I recognize the name. That was the application I was referring to when I mentioned DVD ...

I think it's fair to pull out this trusty old saying -- ''Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.''
That doesn't mean people aren't willing to believe you, but you also better be prepared to encounter some healthy skepticism.
I have read some interesting articles about CUDA (and the competing equivalent from the other graphics card ...

I'm in agreement with the previous posts.
It was my understanding that the Studio program folder was reorganized (in S12?) to keep each version independent. So in theory, you would now be able to uninstall older versions without damaging the current installation. A wonderful and overdue change in my opinion.
However, theory and ...

RogRead, I loved your video. A great story - until the end. That ending is intolerable!!! (I'm saying that in fun.) Yes, we need a sequel from you now. Please get busy right away! Other than that, I loved it.
Colour, I thoroughly enjoyed your clip. Pinhead sure does find himself in some interesting situations, doesn't he. I was ...

Lady,
WELCOME to the forum.
If the students have access to other disk-burning software (such as Roxio), one pragmatic solution may be to have them use the ''Create-but-don't-burn'' option when doing the ''Make Movie'' operation in Studio. Then they can use Roxio to properly burn the DVD content to a disk.
Many people use this ...

Balzy,
WELCOME to the forum.
1) Do you hear other sound in Studio?
2) Are you running Vista (or Win 7)?Double-check your ''advanced''(?) volume settings. I believe you can have different volume settings for different applications, so it is possible the volume for Studio has been turned down or muted in Windows.
Let us know if ...

Wow, this is so fun. Another 3D clip has been posted.
''Slip 'N Chase'' by Allpoint
Excellent!!! Another nail-biting storyline.
I loved the camera direction, especially when the ''spikes'' were deployed. Other camera work was great, but I had to mention that segment in particular.
The music selection was well done ...
