LewS:This is how four point editing works in all professional NLE's. You should not be doing four point edits unless you need fill to fit applied. How about making it optional. I have never needed to make a timewarp this way. But I have had to undo a lot of edits because I've forgotten to delete an old outpoint on the source.

DaveL: is there a way to drag the end of a clip along with a transition that is at that same clip end? You can do that in trim mode. In the standard keyboard setup F5 opens the trim editor.
